Brahms' Winery is situated north-west of Paarl below Paarl Mountain. Here co-owner and WINEMAKER GESIE VAN DEVENTER seeks to practice a vintner's fine craftsmanship that is based on the cultivated HARMONY between man and nature. Gesie, an erstwhile barrister, is also a qualified oenologist. To make good wine was her life-long passion and dreams, so eventually she threw caution to the wind and changed her advocate's robe and designer-shoes for an oenologists's overalls and gumboots to produce award-winning wines.
