"Time well spent, Time after time." This is my favourite hangout place. It is owned by Ratanga Junction and I go here all the time and meet the most interesting people! It is situated right next door to the Colosseum Protea Hotel in the heart of Century City, across the road from Ratanga Junction and opposite Canal Walk and the Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa. It's a restaurant and bar where a beer costs R15 on average and the most expensive food dish on the menu is R55. During the day, business people come here for meetings and in the afternoons they come to enjoy a beer or two to wind down. I always enjoy the food, especially the Chicken Schnitzel with peas and mash and the service is GREAT! When I ask for my Southern Comfort & Lime on the rocks with crushed ice, they give it to me with a smile and engage in our conversations as we sit at the bar wittingly chatting about everything happy and interesting! Time Square has entertainment on weekends (Closed on Sundays except if you book your function there). On Friday nights, a live DJ gets the crowd moving and Saturdays are Sports Days! People book tables and enjoy the sport on the big sceen TV's. I would LOVE to see more people come to this place! It has an amazing vibe and people here have an open, welcome attitude to everyone!! I would know, I spend all my chilling time here! Do yourself a favour, pop in and judge for yourself!!
