Just a short stroll over the railway line crossing from Surfers Corner, the Empire Café is a long-standing favourite with Muizenberg locals. It’s not surprising that it’s a friendly and easy going spot to have a coffee, fill up with some good food and peruse the papers. The upstairs area has a wonderful view of the beach and out over False Bay.

Awesome organic coffee, fresh croissants daily, beautiful lunch, kiff views and good company. The day doesn't start without a visit to the Empire.

Get a spot at the sort after communal table and you'll know you're truly a Muizies local. Oh and really, really delicious almond croissants.

Great Pies, prepared with handmade puff pastry and real butter! Burgers are all made on the premises to a very high standard
