Best coffee in Cape Town combined with great, friendly vibe and roasting done in-store. I've compared their coffee to Yours Truly, & Union, Truth and Vida repeatedly, and I prefer Deluxe every time.
What I love about this place is that their business-model is sound: A supper great product, a stylistically enjoyable atmosphere and the most competitive price around at R10 a cup.. of anything!
The fact that Deluxe is hidden in a obscure little street with minimal, if any parking, makes its 'cool factor' even more so, and the need to be there is greater!
They also don't do wifi which is in their favor, because who wants people like me and my laptop hogging a seat for hours right? So in their case its a win.
On a personal note, I rate, and have rated Deluxe to be the best coffee in Cape Town for a while now. Not because its so well priced, but purely because their product is just so damn good, and you will know when you go and taste it.. so off you go!
